Croakies has cracked? How is that possible? This is going to be a nightmare if it spreads into the city. I’ve got to figure out what’s going on before that happens, or Croakies isn’t going to be the only thing that cracks!

Just when I thought I was starting to hit my stride in this magical artifact librarian gig, everything turns topsy turvy. Several dangerous and toxic artifacts escape from the Powers That Be and one of them lands at Croakies. Because, of course it does.

The artifact has cracked Croakies right down the middle and there doesn’t seem to be any way to fix it.

In a desperate and potentially deadly move, my crew and I are going on a quest for magical objects that the resident out-of-the-box thinkers believe might seal the crack.

I have no idea if the items will solve our problem. But I’m desperate enough to give it a try. I only hope we all survive the quest.

This is such an imaginative series! Naida and the gang are racing to stop destructive artifacts before Enchanted and the rest the world is destroyed. This book is filled with action and chaos from the beginning until the very end! The characters are uniquely fantastic! There’s humor and snarkiness to give a bit of comic relief in the midst of all that action. This is just fun, entertaining, escapist reading!
